Check out the Minnesota Teacher Shortage Loan Repayment Program if you have outstanding qualified educational loan debt
 
The Minnesota Teacher Shortage Student Loan Repayment Program was established to provide student loan repayment assistance to teachers providing classroom instruction in a teacher shortage area in Minnesota.  (See the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for a list of the current shortage areas).The 2019 Minnesota Teacher Shortage Loan Repayment Program Applications are now available on the Office of Higher Education website (https://www.ohe.state.mn.us/ssl/tslr/app.cfm).For more information about the program and FAQ, you can visit the Minnesota Teacher Shortage Loan Repayment Program website (https://www.ohe.state.mn.us/mPg.cfm?pageID=2191).

CEC is aware of the cost issues for some members and has made a tiered system for joining: Premier ($205) Full ($115) Basic ($65). There is an additional cost of joining the DEC subdivision for Full and Basic ($50) and for Premier ($15). The costs for students to join are even cheaper.​​
